a few flowers

mini's garden
i was supposed to wait one more day before donnin' my toolbelt and resumin my duties as mayor of mayhem here at moland but i made the mistake o' lookin' out the window. it only took a nano second to decide another day cannot pass without me headin' out to gather some o' the oodles and boodles o' blooms just waitin' to join me inside! thought i'd take a snippin' break and blog off a few shots to you - wish i could send you some o' the real thing!

i also dropped in a shot o' mini from when we first moved into this big old house. we had searched and searched and the rose she's sniffin' was the only one we could find on the whole property. many years and spans o' time recuperatin' on the floor later, the same rose bush is covered with the biggest blooms i've ever seen (as demonstrated by an older mini today).

back outside to harvest more blooms. if i still have the strength to heft up that heavy camera once i get all the snips into water filled vessels, i will blog back to show em all off to you! i hope you have a wonderful weekend planned and have been as thankful as i have for a less news filled world this past week.

Beautiful garden. It makes me wish that my plants would hurry up and grow. They're still waking up from their winter sleep. Mini's adorable...in both pics! Thanks for sharing. You've brought some sunshine to me on this dull and dreary day.

A breath of spring! My green thumb is envious of what your garden is doing. We were just doing the happy dance yesterday when we had 3 daffodils open and one teeny purple anemone.

Love the shots of mini mini and bigger mini and your tumblin' photos. Take it easy with the snippers - don't get too crazy and decide to start climbin' trees and doin some arbor day prunin'.

the gardens look beautiful my dear and I am sure Mini is most proud og her blooms. I am with Tracy, don't get to climbing any trees or jumping over bushes. Just snip the ones closest to you and leave the others. ;)

Welcome back up Mo! Don't you be lifting that camera too much. That CANNOT be a real flower mini is holding. It is beyond words! I had to do a double take. You've done a beautiful job on the garden--but should we expect anything less from you? Take care now!

Hi - I love those photos -they are gorgeous! I also just flipped through your Charmed Life album at the Little Doo Dad Shop. I just wanted to tell you that I think it's amazing and really inspiring. I was just thinking this morning that I wanted to scrap more events and September 11 has been nagging at me. Your layout is such a unique perspective.
Way cool!

oh missy mo, have I missed that twiggy alpha that's residing up there in your blog header, with mini holding the baby bird? I'll bet not -- having just gone through your charmed life (again! - can I say how much it makes me smile every time!!), I'll bet you made that just for one of those? It's very nice, though, and eye-catching! You know what I'm really wanting, that's very similar? It's in magazine ads I see -- an alpha with a combination of twigs and leaves -- and it's simply gorgeous! And I know it's proprietary, but I want something like it! lol!! I do so many outdoor things -- boys camping, and fishing, and playing in the mud and such. And just gardening, too -- it would be pretty with a floral accent. Look at me go on and on about a leafy-twiggy alpha! Anyone else would probably think I was certifiable. But I know my thoughts are comfy and welcome and here. :-)

Just stopped by to tell you your Little DooDad Shop is looking pretty. I'll spread the word that you're open for business. ;-) (Of course, it's just a taste of the real deal, but maybe it will stop some of those fits of jealousy and temper tantrums from those who haven't been able to get any taste at all, and don't know just how sweet you are...)

weather is turning warmer here, and hoping to get out to the garden. seems I'll be switching stores soon -- I'll send you the details when I have them!

Hugs,
Missy Jan

I am so glad I checked back to see if you had blogged! I have caught up on all your antics & have had a great laugh or five or more! Thanks a bundle! (PS ~ I posted Saucy's surprise party pic on my blog earlier this week...)

Mayor Missy Mo, your header is adorable, what with those sweet peepers pokin' out from behind the twiggy letters... I've missed checkin' in on all my moland sistahs but my renovations are over and I will resume my doodadin'! My garden is coming up weeds, but some of them have pretty flowers anyway. Hugs xoxoxo Miss Saucy
