first batch o' roses....

2010firstbatchroses
...tryin' to finish up all the easter eggs so i can get 'em out 'n maybe be able to still take some orders to mail monday for all the last minute bunny moms...just thought i'd hop on over here to show off a few o'this year's first batch o' roses. these two sorts grow on a fence that extends from the back o' the house all the way back to jo's home on wheels and were planted almost a hundred years ago when the house was built (the one not on wheels).

hope you're all havin' a wonderful week...can't wait to finish these eggs 'n come tell ya'll what that damn squirrel's been up to this week...i'm not much for violence but if i had a bb gun within reach the last few days i may have reached for it 'n thought about pullin' the trigger. he's even got tink 'n coco runnin' every time they hear the slightest noise.

Mo.. your roses are gorgeous.. my favorite is the peach ones!! Beautiful!!

Looking forward to hearing about the squirrel.. I can't imagine our Mo with a bb gun at the ready.. try the "have a heart" trap with a peanut butter sandwhich in it...xoxo glad to see you blogging again, and hope you get the eggs delivered in time!! XOXO Christa

They are certainly lovely Miss Mo. At least the squirrel didn't get to them. After the BB gun post I have a picture of you in my head dressed as Annie Oakley standing on the front porch with that BB gun and all the neighbors running for cover! lol
